Started as a dish washer and quickly worked my way up through my hard work and determination. Became lead on the line and moved on to possess keys to the store so I could open and managed a crew of up to six people in BOH (Back of House) and as many as five in the FOH (Front of House). Also have knowledge of Aloha POS system from a managers standpoint. Responsibilities included but weren't limited to:
*Training of new employees, speaking and dealing with vendors, taking inventory as well as weekly truck orders staying within budget while at the same time keeping in mind a protein count for two locations and expected business flow.
*Making a daily prep list for employees as well as making sure everything was completed by employees before they were able to clock out at the same time paying attention to labor costs and making sure everyone managed their time so that tasks were completeled in a timely and efficient manner.
*Put a cleaning schedule in place due to the fact some things were not being done when I was off, "We are cleaners who just so happen to work in a restaraunt" was one of my head managers favorite sayings.
*Taking catering orders as well as leading the crew in carrying out preparations for orders making sure everything is as expected and of the utmost quality. If required I would also set up and serve on location after delivering the cartering order to the customer.
